Fifth Match: Dolph Ziggler vs. AJ Styles in a Number One Contender’s Match To Determine The Number One Contender To The WWE World Championship
Styles grapples around Ziggler. Ziggler backs Styles into the ropes. Styles with a series of right hands to Ziggler. Ziggler drops Styles with a waist lock takeover. Styles rolls out of the ring. Styles catapults Ziggler face first into the top turnbuckle. Styles drives his shoulder to the midsection of Ziggler. Styles launches Ziggler back first into the corner. Styles goes for a flying clothesline, but Ziggler ducks outs of the way. Ziggler with a series of right hands to Styles. Styles irish whips Ziggler face first to the top turnbuckle. Styles plants Ziggler with a back breaker for a two count. Styles stomps on the back of Ziggler. Styles with a roundhouse kick. Ziggler with a single leg takedown. Ziggler rolls Styles up for a two count. Styles drops Ziggler with another vicious haymaker.
Styles bounces Ziggler head on the top turnbuckle. Styles lands a knife edge chop. Styles stomps on Ziggler’s chest in the corner. Styles with a elbow to the back of Ziggler’s head. Styles kicks Ziggler in the leg. Ziggler fires up with a series of right hands to Styles. Ziggler launches Styles into the ring apron. Ziggler tries to knock Styles off the ring apron, but it doesn’t work as Styles plants Ziggler with a neck breaker over the middle rope. Ziggler tumbles to the outside. Styles applies a rear chin lock. Styles transition into an armbar. Ziggler fires up with another collection of haymakers. Ziggler connects with a beautiful dropkick. Ziggler with a back elbow to Styles. Ziggler connects with the Stinger Splash.
Ziggler follows that up with a swinging neck breaker and an elbow drop for a two count. Ziggler sends Styles shoulder first into the steel ring post. Ziggler plants Styles with the Famouser for a two count. Ziggler goes for the Sleeper Hold, but Styles holds onto the ropes. Styles connects with the Ushigoroshi for a two count. Styles bodyslams Ziggler. Styles goes for the Springboard 450 Splash, but Ziggler rolls out of the way. Ziggler plants Styles with a Satellite DDT for a two count. Ziggler blocks a Styles Clash attempt from Styles. Ziggler whips Styles face first into the ropes. Ziggler plants Styles with the Zig Zag for a two count. Ziggler goes for the SuperKick, but Styles drives him into the ropes. Styles kicks Ziggler in the back of the knee. Styles connects with the Styles Clash to pickup the victory. After the match Styles gets into Ambrose’s face. Styles knocks the head set off Ambrose head. Ambrose and Styles get into a stare off.
Winner: AJ Styles
