WWE RAW Results (4/20) – New Tag Title Contenders, Miz Brand On The Line, Orton Targets Rollins!

Damien Mizdow (w/ Summer Rae) vs The Miz

Miz goes for a few near falls before stomping Sandow in the corner, then Sandow hits a breaker combo and a swinging DDT for two. Sandow goes for a Skull Crushing Finale but Miz drops down and gets a near fall, then he kicks Sandow in the face and goes for another SCF. Sandow escapes, then Summer rakes Sandow eyes behind the ref’s back and Miz hits a SCF for the win.

Winner – The Miz

Miz tries to brag about his win, but Randy Orton runs out and RKOs him.

BP: That was actually a great ending all around. I think everyone was thinking Sandow winning was a foregone conclusion, and glad they went the other way. I think Sandow will get more sympathy ‘finding his character’ and Summer will get some heat. This feud still has legs and I appreciate the surprise here.

Ryback vs Adam Rose

Ryback slams Rose in the corner a few times, then Rose knees him in the face and hits a dropkick. Rose throws a few elbows and applies a sleeperhold, but Ryback breaks it and hits a Meathook and Shell Shocked for the win.

Winner – Ryback

Renee Young is shown with Kane backstage, and she talks to him about a bunch of stuff Seth Rollins was heard saying about him. He storms into the office and screams at Rollins, but Rollins says he’s sorry and they make up. Rollins ends up leaving with Mercury and Noble, and Randy Orton walks into the picture and smirks as Rollins is down the hallway.

Dolph Ziggler vs Seth Rollins

Rollins works to keep Dolph grounded but Dolph comes back with a superkick, then Sheamus runs out and distracts Dolph. Rollins uses the distraction to hit a buckle bomb and a swinging DDT variation for the win.

Winner – Seth Rollins

Rollins starts to brag about winning when Triple H cuts him off, and puts him over the winner this Sunday. Rollins says he wants to finish his thoughts, and he proved himself now and he will prove this is his WWE on Sunday. Kane cuts him off and heads to the ring, but Mercury and Noble try and reason with him. The cage starts lowering as Kane is on the ramp, but Rollins doesn’t see Randy Orton sneak into the cage. Rollins tries to climb the cage and escape, but Orton pulls him off the cage and drops him with a big RKO, which looks to please Kane.
