TNA Impact Wrestling Results (10/1) – Aries Cashes In Title Shot, Roode Speaks, New Knockouts Champion

Bobby Roode comes out and says he is the longest reigning TNA champion ever, and he’s not cocky about it, but he’s actually quite proud of that. He says he lost to Bobby Lashley, then Lashley comes out with MVP and King, and Roode says he lost but at least he could look Lashley in the eye and call him dominant. Roode says he’s watched their match over and over, and he keeps going back to when he kicked out of a spear, because Lashley had a look of shock that he’s never had before. Roode says he wants one more shot at the title, then Lashley tries to answer, but MVP takes the mic and says no, then gets Lashley to leave.

 Knockouts Championship
Havok vs Gail Kim (c)

Gail says she was down, but not out, and if Havok wants this title she’s going to have to come take it from her. Havok enters and Gail meets her on the ramp, trading punches before Havok attacks her shoulder. She whips her into the ring and kicks her, then Havok applies a bearhug and slams Gail into the turnbuckles. She applies the hammerlock and slams Gail’s shoulder into the opposite corner, then Gail kicks her and hits the ropes. Havok catches and splashes her, then she digs her hand into Gail’s shoulder blade and hits a shoulder breaker for two. Gail hits Havok back a few times and they make their way towards the corner, then Gail applies a Figure Four on the ringpost before hitting a top rope crossbody for two. Gail calls for Eat Defeat but Havok blocks it twice, and she hits a hammerlock slam before connecting with a chokeslam for the win.

Winner – Havok
