TNA Lockdown PPV Results (3/9): Who Has Control of TNA Wrestling? Wrestle-1 Takes on Bad Influence, Blockbuster Returns & More

Manik vs. Tigre Uno

They start off the match with a lock-up, and both guys trade arm drag attempts and do some crazy counter-wrestling. Counter, counter, missed dropkick, missed dropkick, stereo missed dropkicks. We're about a minute in and I'm not sure anybody has actually hit a move yet; so many counters.

Manik tries to throw his opponent into the cage and Tigre holds on and climbs it instead. He comes off the cage with a great moonsault, taking the former X-Division champion down. Tigre starts climbing the cage and Manik dropkicks him into the door, popping it open. The referee closes the door – I don't think that was intention.

Manik does his stick-in-the-ropes Spiderman thing off an Irish whip, and dodges out of the way, senting Tigre crashing into the cage. He hits a vertical suplex, floating over into a back suplex for a two-count. Manik takes control for several minutes, until Tigre kips out of the pin, leaping to the top rope and hitting a headscissors takedown. He hits a title-the-whirl DDT for a close two-count.

Tigre starts his climb to the top of the cage and Manik joins him. Tigre floats over for a sunset flip attempt, but Manik holds on to the cage and hits a big missile dropkick. Sit-down powerbomb from the former Suicide for a count of two. A few more counters from both guys, and Tigre Uno gets the better of the exchange with an exploder cradle suplex. He climbs to the top turnbuckle and hits the Sabertooth Splash (450) for the win.

Winner: Tigre Uno
