TNA Lockdown PPV Results (3/9): Who Has Control of TNA Wrestling? Wrestle-1 Takes on Bad Influence, Blockbuster Returns & More

Rockstar Spud comes out to introduce TNA President Dixie Carter. Dixie says she's real royalty, unlike Miami's own "King James", and makes fun of basketball. She goes on and on about how awful the people in Miami are, and says that she went to New York to get herself an insurance policy. Dixie says Jeff Hardy walked out on her and the "creatures" and has blocked every entrance into the building, and he will not be allowed in tonight.

Sam Shaw comes out and, at not seeing Christey at ringside, threatens to jump off the edge of the steel cage. Anderson comes out and does his bit with the mic. He tells Shaw that he doesn't want to jump off the cage because it isn't high enough, and he'll end up breaking his ankle.

Steel Cage Match
Samuel Shaw vs. Ken Anderson

Anderson tries for the Mic Check early, but has to settle for a gutwrench suplex. Shaw fires back with a right hand and stomps a mudhole in the corner. He starts to choke Anderson by putting his boot in his throat – there's no disqualification, so no ropebreak.

Sam almost makes his way out of the cage when Anderson cuts him off. They battle on the top rope with Shaw tossing Anderson's head off the cage and knocking him to the floor. Again they fight on the top rope, and this time Anderson hits a massive back suplex to take both guys out.

Somehow Shaw gets to his feet first, and stares down Hemme, who has made her way to ringside. Anderson throws Shaw into the cage and ends up knocking Earl Hebner off the ramp. He follows that up with a Mic Check, followed by yet another Mic Check into the second turnbuckle. Anderson begins to climb the cage and Hemme is going nuts in excitement on the outside. Anderson gets to the floor and wins the match.

Winner: Ken Anderson

As Anderson gets to the floor, Hemme gets pulled into the cage through the small camera hole. Shaw threatens her, as Anderson gets a key to the cage and opens it. He helps Christey to safety, but Shaw attacks him from behind. He locks in the Kata Gatame sleeper and puts Anderson to sleep.

CORRECTION: SAM SHAW WINS

Apparently, Earl Hebner didn't see Anderson walking around on the floor for two minutes. Apparently, Earl Hebner did not realize that while he was getting the key from him, Ken Anderson was not on the floor. After Shaw puts him to sleep, he leaves the ring and is then declared the winner….
