Non-Title Tuxedo Match: Santino Marella vs. Ricardo Rodriguez
Up next is the U.S. Champion Santino Marella against Ricardo Rodriguez in a non-title tuxedo match. Santino is in a powder blue tuxedo. Rodriguez is in the same one he always wears. Rodriguez tears the pocket off Santino’s jacket early on. A loud “boring” chant breaks out early on. That didn’t take long. Santino strips Rodriguez’s tuxedo off of him, revealing his Alberto Del Rio underwear. Santino wins.

Backstage: CM Punk & A.J.
Backstage, CM Punk is shown wearing his “I Dig Crazy Chicks” t-shirt. Matt Striker asks Punk what his relationship is with A.J. Punk said “what relationship?” Punk said A.J. is crazy but tonight’s match is about the WWE Championship. A.J. ends up showing up and wishing Punk luck with a big kiss on the cheek. “Luck is for losers” says Punk.
Intercontinental Title: Cody Rhodes vs. Christian
The Intercontinental Championship match is next up. Both guys battle back and forth a bit for the first few minutes of the match, with each guy having a little window of offense. Christian hit a big DDT off the ring steps to Rhodes a few minutes into the contest. Back in the ring, Rhodes trips Christian and sits on the ropes playing to the crowd. While he was still there, Christian hit him with a huracanrana off the second rope for a close nearfall. Christian goes for the spear a bit later, but Rhodes manages to escape to the floor unscathed. Christian goes for a frogsplash a minute after, but Rhodes gets his knees up to block it. A few seconds later, however, Christian manages to hit the spear this time and pick up the pin.
