DOWN A STEP:
Overall Show
I know there’s a lot out there thinking that WWE showed signs last night of some sort of youth movement within the company, but I’m a long way from believing that. I want to believe it, but last night certainly didn’t show it outside of Kofi’s start of a push and the debut of Sheamus.
Cena, HBK, and Hunter are now the main event for Survivor Series on the Raw side of things and Big Show is somehow main eventing with the Undertaker in the Smackdown title match. Legacy really didn’t accomplish anything last night, Miz and Swagger can’t elevate each other to a great degree, so what did they do?
While I don’t believe they did enough to give people a reason to believe they are “changing their ways” and trying to push young talent, I do think the door is open for that to happen in the future.
And WWE desperately needs to do that.
