However, the question is just how much support and energy will WWE actually put behind Kofi Kingston? Let’s say they hold this match off for the Survivor Series pay per view, we all know the outcome of that match. A pay per view loss only puts Kofi right back to where he was prior to the event.
My suggestion? Keep the underlying story between Ted DiBiase, Jr. and Randy Orton going and somehow allow Kofi to get the fluke win at the pay per view. This allows for a rematch at Armageddon and then we head into the Royal Rumble. Kofi could cost Orton the Rumble win, DiBiase could make a complete turn, or there’s other options they could take at that point.
WWE needs young stars to become main eventers…let’s start working on it!
