We’re back with the Bella Twins checking out Timbaland’s new CD. Eve and Gail Kim walk by chatting and then we see MVP and Timbaland talking on a couch. They are cut off by Kofi Kingston who’s wanting to thank Timbaland for his chance to win a shot at the United States title. MVP then says as soon as Kofi wins the title from the Miz, he thinks he should get the first shot. Miz comes in with his "Really?" and says that it would all be great if it was true. This time next year, Miz is still going to be the Champion while those two will be afterthoughts. Miz then tells Gail Kim that she can’t keep up with Maryse – trust him, he knows. Timbaland then says that he needs to talk to Miz. If Kofi wins the match tonight, the U.S. title match set up for next week will be tonight.

The Miz vs Kofi Kingston
The match is underway when the break ends and Kofi is in charge trying multiple pin attempts, but not getting the three. Kofi hits a side Russian leg sweep and then does the Boom Drop. He sets up for the Trouble In Paradise and nails it. He tries to go for the cover, but Orton interferes and pulls him out of the ring. He rams Kingston’s head into the steel post on the outside and then nails an RKO.

We’re back and Josh Matthews catches up with Randy Orton who says that this thing between him and Kofi isn’t over until he says it’s over. And he can’t think of a better way to kick off the new year than by kicking someone in the skull. Next week, the two of them have a match to finish this thing.
DX’s music hits and they come out to the ring. They do their usual promo and get set for their match with Big Show and a partner of his choosing. We then see Chris Jericho walk down the ramp and sit front row. He apparently got a frontrow ticket (what Big Show gave him earlier).
