WWE Raw Results – December 28th, 2009

Shawn comes out and Vince tells the fans to give it up for the Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels.  Shawn says that sometimes, there are rivalries that are even bigger than this industry.  There are rivalries that are so big that you can’t deny the people simply because it doesn’t work for you.  Vince assumes he’s talking about the rivalry between Shawn and Bret.  Shawn says he’s not.  He’s talking about the Undertaker.  He says that he’ll say it again: he knows he can beat the Undertaker and end his undefeated WrestleMania streak.  Shawn then tells Vince to set up the rematch between the two of them at this year’s WrestleMania.  Vince says he’s reluctant to make the match and therefore, he won’t make that match.  He says if that match is going to happen, then Shawn is going to make it happen.

He starts to leave and Shawn says before he goes, there’s one other thing he’d like to add.  Shawn says he can understand why he’s afraid of the Undertaker, but being afraid of Bret Hart?  Shawn says that maybe it’s time he brings some closure to this chapter of his life and bring Bret Hart back to the WWE and to Monday Night Raw.   Shawn says that if he does, only good things are going to happen.  Vince says he’s not afraid of anyone; he’s fearless.  He asks Shawn to repeat what he said and Shawn says that only good things will happen.  Vince starts smiling as if he understands what Shawn means by that.  Shawn says that he for one, will be more than happy to see Bret Hart one more time.  Vince says that if only good things are going to happen, then next week on Raw, the new year will kick off with a special guest host…Bret "The Hitman" Hart.  McMahon leaves and we see a serious Shawn Michaels left standing in the ring.
