The Cutting Edge (w/ guests Chris Jericho & Evan Bourne)
Edge says before he begins he would like a moment of silence for R-Truth, he only knew one song but he knew it well. Edge says he is smarter than everyone else here, and he won’t make seven enemies, he’ll make seven friends in Nexus. He says all they need is a little direction, and he knows where this is going. He says whoever gets the breifcase has always become champion, and says MITB is equal to winning the WWE Championship. Edge says he has done it twice, unlike his two guests, and introduces Evan Bourne, but gets Chris Jericho instead. Jericho gets in his face and says he doesn’t take a backseat to Evan Bourne or anyone. He says Edge is out there trying to pander to Nexus to not attack them, but he was Wade Barrett’s mentor. He says Barrett attacked Steamboat exactly like Jericho did at Wrestlemania last year. He says if anyone will be Nexus’ unofficial advisor, it will be him.
Edge asks why Jericho thinks Nexus would help him, when he couldn’t even beat Evan Bourne two weeks ago. Jericho says he’s the guy that beat Edge decisively at Wrestlemania, and Edge makes excuses saying it was because his mind was clouded with pleasing the fans. Jericho says Edge always wanted to be Jericho, and says he got long blonde hair, a championship, and a talk show just so he could be like Jericho. Jericho says no one is going to knock him off his perch, and he will win MITB and make sure Edge never gets a title shot again. Edge attacks Jericho and whips him into a ladder but Jericho reverses and puts Edge in the Walls of Jericho. Evan Bourne comes out and knees Jericho in the head and gets out of the ring as Jericho and Edge try to attack him.
Cole gets another email and it says, "if you want to see some action, give me a hell yeah!" Cole says whether they like it or not they will have a match and asks the ring to be cleared of the carpet and ladders. He says the match will be Jericho & Edge against Evan Bourne and Randy Orton!
