Buff Bagwell Eyes Final Match During TNA iMPACT Appearance

The March 26, 2026, episode of TNA iMPACT featured the return of Buff Bagwell. It was his first time in front of a TNA crowd in almost 20 years, and instead of just looking back at the past, he talked about wanting one final run match.

Bagwell revealed that he had his right leg amputated above the knee on July 10, 2025. This decision came after years of serious health problems caused by a car accident in 2020.

The accident happened when Bagwell was driving under the influence. It severely damaged his knee and started a painful recovery process. Over the next few years, he went through more than 40 surgeries, including a knee replacement. But infections and complications kept popping up.

In the end, he had to make a very difficult choice- try to save his leg with only a small chance of success or go for amputation. Bagwell chose to amputate.

Even though it was very tough both physically and emotionally, Bagwell used this moment to turn his life around. He focused on staying sober and improving himself. That whole journey eventually led him back to TNA.

Bagwell spoke with Gia Miller in a segment. He even apologized to fans for how he acted over the past two decades and confessed that his life hasn’t been easy, especially after his accident. But even after all that, he told the fans that if they supported him, he would like to wrestle one final match in TNA.

“I want you to know, if you’ll get behind me just one more time, I will come down this ramp, I will walk down this ramp. I will get in that ring, and I will wrestle for TNA one more time,” Bagwell said.

The crowd gave him a big cheer. But the moment was interrupted.

Frankie Kazarian came out and mocked Bagwell. He suggested no one wants to see him wrestle anymore. He even made fun of Bagwell’s famous catchphrase, saying, “Buff lost some stuff.”

Just when things were getting tense, Elijah came out to help. He stood up for Bagwell and chased Kazarian away. Then he showed support by telling Bagwell he could “walk with Elijah” whenever he is ready.

It’s still not clear when or if he will get his final match in TNA.
