Liv Morgan Has Earned Creative Liberties In WWE

Former Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan has secured the trust of WWE officials.

WWE fans have known the Liv Morgan character for over 11 years. It wasn’t until recently, though, that Morgan says she gained some creative freedom over it.

While appearing on Bradley Martyn’s Raw Talk, Morgan addressed whether she has control over the stories surrounding her on-screen character in WWE.

“Am I actively writing the show? No. But do I have creative liberties? Yeah,” Morgan said. “But that’s like something you earn. You don’t just get creative liberties. Like, you have to earn to be able to be trusted to have creative liberties,” Morgan said. (H/T to PWMania for the transcription)

According to Morgan, she earned her creative liberties in 2024. “Probably like 2024, I feel like,” she said. “Yeah [that feels good], it does. Because that means they know that I know my sh*t, and I take pride in them knowing that I know my sh*t.”

In 2024, Morgan captured her second world title, then later went on to become the first ever WWE Women’s Crown Jewel Champion. The same year, Morgan joined the Judgment Day stable by forming a romantic partnership with “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio.

Currently, Morgan is set for a WWE Women’s World Championship match at WrestleMania 42 after selecting Stephanie Vaquer as her grand stage opponent. Morgan earned this right by winning the 2026 Women’s Royal Rumble. Should she dethrone Vaquer at “The Show of Shows,” it will mark her third world title under the WWE banner.
