Je’Von Evans actually got more WWE TV time than he did all of last week.
The Young OG received his main roster call-up last week. Evans signed his RAW contract during a segment with General Manager Adam Pearce. While the contract signing took place during a commercial break, it was shown live to international viewers on Netflix.
As for U.S. viewers, they only found out about the signing after it had already taken place. This, of course, triggered significant backlash on social media, with fans calling out WWE for not airing Je’Von Evans’ contract signing live on TV.
A report noted that many people backstage were puzzled by the decision to hold the segment during a commercial break. Despite that, it was reportedly stressed that this should not be seen as an indication of how the company views Evans.
Je’Von Evans competed on WWE RAW this week
Je’Von Evans received plenty of TV time on RAW this week in Germany. The Young OG was shown backstage at the start of the show before taking on Bravo Americano in singles action later in the night.
After Evans picked up the win, he was surrounded by Los Americanos outside the ring. However, his quick thinking allowed him to escape the trio, as Evans showcased his agility to evade the attackers.
