The partnership between WWE and TNA Wrestling will continue later this month at Genesis.
In 2025, plenty of NXT talents went back and forth between their brand and TNA. With only AJ Styles making an appearance for TNA as a main roster talent. But a recent announcement reveals that trend will continue in 2026.
TNA Wrestling took to social media today to announce that WWE SmackDown Superstar and former TNA World Champion Joe Hendry will appear at Genesis later this month, tweeting out:
“BREAKING: As revealed by The Hardys this morning, former TNA World Champion Joe Hendry will be appearing at #TNAGenesis LIVE on PPV and TNA+ on January 17 from the Curtis Culwell Center in Dallas, Texas! Get tickets at http://TNAWrestling.com,” TNA said in a post.
Based on the wording, much like Styles, Hendry will only be appearing on the show and won’t actually be competing at the event.
So far, no WWE main roster talent has competed on a TNA show. But the year is young; perhaps that might change in the coming months.
Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more information as it becomes available.
