Will Ospreay is on the road to recovery after undergoing successful neck surgery.
Heading into AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, Will Ospreay made it clear that he would be taking time away from the company to get his neck taken care of.
Following the Lights Out Steel Cage match, the Death Riders attacked Ospreay, writing him off the show for the foreseeable future. And we now have an update on how things are going for him, less than a month later.
The Aerial Assassin took to social media on Thursday to announce that he recently had successful neck surgery, tweeting out:
“The road will be long, but it’ll be worth it to see you all again. Surgery was a success,” Will said in a post.
A surgery of this nature will likely sideline Ospreay from in-ring action anywhere between six months to a year.
Stay tuned to WrestleZone for more information on Will Ospreay’s road to recovery as it becomes available.
