Hechicero of CMLL has been seen a lot on AEW programming this year, and there’s a very good reason for that.
Hechicero recently appeared on Fox Sports Mexico. During the interview, Hechicero revealed he has signed a contract with All Elite Wrestling. This confirms yet another talent who has a dual contract with AEW and CMLL.
“I thank everyone from the media & the fans who had been asking: yes, I can confirm I am part of All Elite Wrestling,” Hechicero announced. “I am still linked with CMLL, which is something I want to thank Salvador Lutteroth & Tony Khan for the trust given to me. I’m the first wrestler to have a double multi-year deal, and I take that with a lot of responsibility because it reinforces the alliance, how CMLL keeps expanding its wrestling, and of course the global dominance that AEW has.” [H/T: Fightful]
Hechicero is a member of the Don Callis Family. He recently came up short against Bandido at Death Before Dishonor for the Ring of Honor World Championship.
