MJF & Alicia Atout Get Married

MJF‘s recent absence from AEW programming has been explained.

Beyond a taped promo on the August 27 episode of Dynamite, we haven’t seen MJF on AEW programming since Forbidden Door in London. But obviously, there was a good reason.

MJF took to social media last night to announce in his own way that he got married on Friday, tweeting out:

“Even when I’m old and grey I’m gonna feel the way I do today. The death of a bachelor,” MJF said in a post.

All Elite President Tony Khan quickly confirmed the wedding by tweeting back to Friedman:

“Best wedding ever! Thank you @AliciaAtout!” Tony Khan said in response.

Friedman married his longtime girlfriend and AEW backstage interviewer Alicia Atout. Who took to social media earlier this morning to comment on the wedding, tweeting out:

“From Tits McGee to Mrs. Friedman. I love you. *Sparkle emoji* *heart emoji* *ring emoji* @the_mjf,” Alicia Atout said in a post.

The wedding itself was a star-studded affair, and many AEW stars attended the couple’s happiest moment. You can see a picture from the wedding in the embedded post below:
