The Elegance Brand has taken control of the TNA Knockouts division. As for what’s next, Ash By Elegance says she’s very open to bringing an elegant male into the mix.
Ash By Elegance spoke with WrestleZone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard about her run in the company and recent title win. Ash is the new Knockouts Champion, while M and Heather are the reigning Knockouts Tag Team Champions. The Elegance Brand has primarily functioned as a women’s faction (along with The Concierge), but it was never explicitly stated that it was for female wrestlers only. Ash said she is not only open to adding a male to their group, but it’s something she’s regularly discussed.
“That’s definitely something that George and I talk about all the time. We’re always looking. Now that this partnership is so strong with NXT, it’s like who could I recruit? There’s a lengthy checklist that everyone has to check off. I absolutely love makeovers. As you know, I made over M and I made over Heather. I did also help George, my personal concierge, “groom up,” so I love a good makeover. If I see potential, if I see that I can kind of mold you, you just have to be open to the idea. I definitely would love a male part of the Elegance Brand.”
Ash By Elegance has a few names in mind from the TNA and NXT roster
Ash mentioned a few names that might fit the bill, and agreed that NXT’s Robert Stone would be a good name for crossover appeal. She shared her excitement about the situation and teased potentially having on-air “tryouts” to land a new running mate.
“Frankie [Kazarian], because he is the king of TNA. But the thing with Frankie is, I don’t think he would listen; he likes to do things his way. Robert Stone definitely has a look, he will go and get whatever he has to do and he’ll get it done. I could definitely transform him,” Ash explained. “I need somebody, it might sound bad, but a little submissive that I can work with and tell them what to do, and they’ll do it.
“I’d have said KC [Navarro], but he’s hurt right now. I think Nic Nemeth would be a bit submissive. We have the blonde hair going on. He’s not shy to dye it and put a little bit of pink in it. So, maybe a little bit of Nic Nemeth. He has a long, lengthy list of accolades. I know he’s fit for the part in ring,” Ash added. “We could do some test runs. We could have a try out, a good try out for a male Elegance member, they could do like model walks. I think that would be great for TV.”
