TNA Suspends Nic Nemeth Again

This week’s episode of TNA Impact saw Nic Nemeth “suspended” again.

Thursday’s show saw Santino Marella joined on stage by The Nemeths. Nic says they are the draw and fans came to see them. Nic said they have an iron-clad contract and want their rematch against the Hardys.

Santino said they did have a match. However, due to attacking the Home Town Man last week and injuring two TNA employees, Nic is suspended. Due to the Nemeths being pulled from the match, the Hardys will now face the Rascalz for the TNA World Tag Team Championship at TNA Emergence.

Ryan screamed that Santino couldn’t do this, claiming he has all kinds of lawyers to deal with this. He threatened to sue Santino and everyone there, so Santino said, ‘Sue you!’ in response.

Ryan tried to reason with Santino and said The Nemeths deserve to be at Emergence. Santino said one of them will be, and informed Ryan that he would still have a match… against The Home Town Man! Ryan and Nic screamed that he couldn’t do that, but Santino said he just did.

Nic Nemeth was already “suspended” by TNA in 2025

This is the second storyline suspension for Nic Nemeth in 2025. In February, Santino suspended Nemeth for four weeks due to The Wanted Man “accidentally” superkicking him. That suspension was likely a reason for covering for Nemeth not being available for TNA’s television tapings that month. TNA taped content at Full Sail University in Orlando in February, around the same time that Nemeth was in Qatar for a match.

It’s unclear why Nemeth was suspended this time, however speculation would lead you to believe it’s for a similar reason.

TNA Emergence takes place on August 15 at the Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena in Baltimore, Maryland. Catch up on everything that went down on TNA Impact here.
