Jack Perry Has Started An Interesting Hobby During His AEW Absence

Jack Perry has been away from All Elite Wrestling for nearly a year, but has taken up a new hobby in his free time.

Over on Perry‘s Instagram, Perry has taken to posting videos about his latest hobby: forgery. In his videos, Perry makes a variety of different knives. The videos show off Perry designing the look of them, as well as forging and crafting them into the finished product.

As far as Jack Perry’s future in AEW, things remain mostly a mystery. The star hasn’t been around since he lost his TNT Championship to Daniel Garcia at 2024’s Full Gear. Since then, he’s been away from the company for undisclosed reasons. A report from Dave Meltzer in June noted Perry isn’t hurt and is available, so his absence remains a mystery.

Outside of AEW, Perry has appeared in a handful of matches. Perry made his New Japan Pro-Wrestling debut in 2024, and has appeared for the company a handful of times. Most recently, Perry wrestled at 2025’s Wrestle Dynasty, losing to Yota Tsuji in a IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship match.
