Michelle McCool is just a phone call away.
McCool competed at the first WWE Evolution event, competing in a battle royal on the card. She is open to competing at the second event, which takes place on July 13 in Atlanta. McCool recently appeared on WrestleStar and commented on her interest in being part of the show, telling the hosts that she’s always “just a phone call away.”
“I’ve actually been in the ring a little bit, feeling pretty good. If they ask, I’ll be there. In fact, I would love a Lay-Cool reunion. That would be — I think Layla’s finally getting back on the scene. But look, I’m always down to fight. I’m always ready. I have not been called, but I would love to do anything that they asked me to do. I think I got one more. What do you always say? I’m not as good as I once was, but I’m as good once as I always ever was. Yep, I butchered it, but yes, I’m good for one more.”
Michelle McCool still has not gotten that call
Fans still call for her to be on the show, but it doesn’t seem like Michelle McCool is in WWE’s plans for Evolution 2 right now. McCool replied to different posts on Twitter/X and told fans that she’s still waiting for WWE to call her about Evolution.
“Pick up the phone!!,” @clotheslinings wrote on Twitter/X, tagging McCool and Kelly Kelly (Barbie Blank) in the post.
“Hasn’t rang,” McCool replied.
There are seven matches currently planned for WWE Evolution 2, including a newly-announced triple threat title match. A battle royal is one of the other confirmed matches, although none of the participants have been announced yet.
