Is Chris Jericho on his way back to All Elite Wrestling?
On the April 9 episode of AEW Dynamite, Chris Jericho told Big Bill and Bryan Keith that he was disappointed in them and would be leaving for a while until they figured things out. It now appears that Jericho might be on his way back to the company.
A Fozzy concert that was scheduled for today at The Royal Grove in Nebraska has been canceled.
The Royal Grove took to their Instagram page to address the cancellation, stating that Jericho has prioritized a wrestling match over the concert, posting:
“IMPORTANT UPDATE!! Fozzy has canceled their show at The Royal Grove on May 3rd. The band’s lead singer has chosen to prioritize a wrestling match and despite our efforts to keep the show as agreed, they have ultimately declined to perform.
To make up for the cancellation, we’re offering all ticket holders a 2025 All-Year, All-Events Access Pass completely free. Or you may request a full refund instead.
Please email us at info@theroyalgrove.com with your preference and order confirmation number before May 7th to ensure your request is processed,” The Royal Grove said in a post.
Tonight’s episode of AEW Collision is taking place at the Adrian Phillips Theater at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City.
WrestleZone will have live coverage of AEW Collision later this evening.
The Royal Grove isn’t being entirely truthful with their patrons
UPDATE: Despite the Royal Grove informing ticket holders that this concert was canceled today, Fozzy announced on their Facebook page back in February that this concert was canceled back in February. You can check that announcement out in the embedded post below:
So, for those not looking forward to a Jericho return tonight on Collision, you likely have nothing to worry about.
