Cope Stretchered Out After Post-Match Attack At AEW Dynasty

FTR has finally turned their backs on Cope.

Rated FTR was in action against the Death Riders at AEW Dynasty, with the AEW Trios Championship on the line. Rated FTR was unsuccessful in their attempt to win the titles, but the match was most notable for what happened after the bell.

Dax Harwood, who has shown his frustrations with Cope and Cash Wheeler in recent weeks, hit Cope with a piledriver after The Rated R Superstar helped him to his feet. Dax then went outside and got two chairs in an attempt to hit a Con-chair-to on Cope, giving Cash the other chair to finish the job with. Cash shoved Dax and stopped him, and looked to be sticking up for Cope.

Cash ended up helping him back to his feet, but pulled him in and lifted him up, where Dax helped him hit the Shatter Machine. FTR wasn’t done just yet, however, as they hit a spike piledriver on the chair and Cash ended things with a Con-chair-to… or so it seemed.

FTR threw the stretcher over when the medical team tried to get Cope out of the ring safely. Cash also laid on top of it, holding a neck brace, as he and Dax mocked Cope on the way out.
