Ciclón Ramírez, real name Celso Reyes Daza, has passed away.
The news was announced on Ramirez’s official Facebook page:
“We ask for understanding at this time for his loved ones, the good Celso rests in peace.”
Ramirez had been in the wrestling business for over four decades. He had been wrestling since the early 1980s, and he competed for CMLL. Ramirez won the CMLL World Welterweight Championship, the Mexican National Lightweight Championship, and the Mexican National Heavyweight Championship. He also competed for IWRG, among other promotions. He has not wrestled since August 2024.
