Ice Ribbon To See Four Talent Departures By End Of 2024

Four of Ice Ribbon’s female competitors have announced their exit from the promotion come December 31, 2024.

Mio Shirai, sister of WWE’s IYO SKY, currently works as a referee, trainer, and occasional wrestler for the Ice Ribbon promotion. Unfortunately, she took to Twitter to reiterate a major statement from a recent show. She revealed on that she will be departing the company by the end of 2024 alongside Saran, Nanae Furukawa, and Mifu Ashida.

According to Shirai, there is a possibility for more talent departures in the coming months. Nonetheless, she promises that all departing talents will find a new place in the Japanese wrestling scene. She ends her statement by saying that they will ensure the happiness of all women in the locker room in spite of the recent events.

ICE x ∞ Champion Yuuki Mashiro previously called out Ice Ribbon President Kazuhito Goshima for not paying talent wages and remaining unresponsive.
