WWE NXT Spring Breakin’ Results (4/25/23)

NXT Championship Match: Carmelo Hayes (c) w/Trick Williams vs. Grayson Waller

Hayes lands a dropkick after a leap frog spot. Hayes and Waller trade pin attempts. Crossface by Hayes. Waller retreats to the ropes. Springboard clothesline by Hayes. Waller gets hung up in the ropes. Hayes sets up the fade away. Waller avoids the fade away, but Hayes hits his modified spingshot suplex instead. Waller rolls out of the ring and throws a chaie in the ring. As Hayes and the referee are distracted, Waller hits Williams with a chair. After the break, Walleris working over Hayes.

Hayes surprises Waller with the fade away. Waller and Hayes trade strikes. Waller and Hayes clothesline each other at the same time. Waller’s arm lands on Hayes so the referee counts. Hayes kicks out at 2.9. Hayes lands a flurry of strikes. Posterizer DDT by Hayes. Waller kicks out. Hayes goes up top. Waller rolls to the other side of the ring to avoid it. Waller turns Hayes inside out with a kick. Hayes tries a springboard but Waller counters with the Rolling Thunder Stunner. Hayes rolls out of the ring to avoid getting pinned.

Waller is livid. Waller puts Hayes on the commentary desk. Hayes is out cold. Waller hits a diving elbow off the top that destroys Hayes and the commentary desk. Waller sends Hayes back into the ring. Hayes kicks out. Waller sets up a fireman’s carry. Hayes reverses it into a lungblower. Waller stuns Hayes on the bottom rope. Waller tries the Rolling Thunder Stunner again, but his knee gives out. Hayes hits Nothing but Net for the win!

Winner and STILL NXT Champion, Carmelo Hayes!

After the match, Hayes grabs a mic and says he doesn’t care if Breakker wants it or not, He wants Breakker at NXT Battleground. Breakker’s music hits. Breakker appear out of nowhere and Spears Williams. Hayes turns around and eats a powerslam from Breakker. Hayes falls out of the ring. Breakker Spears Hayes through a wall next to the stage.

Backstage, Joe Gacy and Ava Rayne find Mark Coffey. Gacy challenges him to a match. If Gacy wins, The Dyad gets a fair tag title match. If Coffey wins, the Dyad won’t challenge Gallus again. Coffey agrees.

Fallon Henley and Briggs vs. Kiana James and Jensen

Briggs and Henley take an early advantage as we lead to the break. After the break, Briggs and Jensen are trading strikes. Henley and James are tagged in at the same time. Henley and James trade shoits. James trues a Samoan drop, but Henley escapes and lands a face buster. James tags in Jensen. Jensen backs down Henley. Briggs attacks Jensen from behind. After a distraction from James. Jensen floors Briggs with a spinning wheel kick. Briggs kicks out. Briggs fires up. Jensend accidentally knocks James off the apron. Jensen turns around and walks into a lariat from Briggs. Briggs pins Jensen.

Oba Femi vs. Oro Mensah

Femi tosses Mensah clear across the ring. Mensah gets to his feet. Femi crushes Mensah in the corner. Short arm clotheslines by Femi. Mensah tries to fire back but Femi destroys him with a chop. Mensah goes up top. Femi knocks Mensah off the top with an uppercut. Mensah fires up and lands a few strikes. Mensah lands a springboard kick. Femi kicks out at one. Roaring elbow by Femi. Pop Up Powerbomb by Femi. Mensah is done.

Winner- Oba Femi

NXT Women’s Championship Match: Indi Hartwell (c) vs. Tiffany Stratton vs. Roxanne Perez

Stratton gets in Perez’s face. Hartwell and Perez attack Stratton. After the break, Hartwell gets dumped out of the ring. Stratton works over Perez’s arm. Perez reverses Stratton’s armbar into a prawn hold. Stratton kicks out. Hartwell gets on the apron. Perez boots Hartwell off. Perez catches Stratton with a ranna but Stratton lands on her feet. Hartwell rolls back in and clothesline Perez and Stratton at the same time. Perez Takes both Stratton and Hartwell over with a rope walk hip toss.

Hartwell tosses Perez at Stratton. Perez clears the ring. Perez lands suicide dives on both women. Guillotine by Perez. Hartwell reverses it into a suplex. Short arm clotheslines by Hartwell. Perez takes Hartwell over with a sunset flip. Stratton breaks it up with a double stomp. Perez kicks out. Hartwell and Perez end up outside the ring. Stratton goes up top and lands a swanton on both of them. Hartwell is clutching at her ankle. The medical staff checks on Hartwell. Hartwell is taken to the back. Stratton works over Perex in the ring. Perez tries a crossbody but Stratton rolls through and lifts Perez in a Samoan drop position. Perez counters that into a roll up. Stratton kicks out.

Perez sits Stratton up top. Perez hits a ranna off the top. Stratton kicks out. Perez gets another near fall after a Russian leg sweep. Hartwell limps from backstage and breaks up Perez’s pin. Hartwell lands a big boot to Perez and Stratton. Spinbuster by Hartwell to Stratton. Perez breaks up the pin. Hartwell rolls out of the ring. Stratton hits her double moonsault on Perez. Hartwell pulls Stratton out of the ring. Perez gets to her knees but Hartwell blasts her with a basement elbow strike. Hartwell pins Perez.
