In-Ring Segment: Trish Stratus
Stratus wants to start with a history lesson. When she started, women’s wrestling was a joke. She singlehandedly turn it into what it is today. People will be quick to mention Lita, but Lita had nothing to do with it. Without her, there would have been no women in the main event of WrestleMania. When Charlotte Flair, Ronda Rousey, and Becky Lynch wrestled in the main event of WrestleMania, the people chanted, “You deserve it!” but what they should have been chanting was, “Thank you, Trish!”
Lynch seems to think women’s wrestling started with the “Four Horse Ladies” when they would have nothing without her. Lynch never thanked her for saving this division. Stratus took out Lita to get close to Lynch. She took out Lynch just like that. She isn’t the WWE’s childhood fantasy, she isn’t a nostalgia act, she isn’t a sidekick. She’s is the best to ever do it.
