Alexa Bliss Reflects On Working With Bray Wyatt And Her Match Against Randy Orton

"I've Never Had More Fun In My Life!" Alexa Bliss On "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt | What Went Down

Alexa Bliss reflects on her 2020 pairing with Bray Wyatt and her 2021 cinematic match against Randy Orton.

Alexa Bliss for a brief period of time was a major component of the Bray Wyatt character and at one point, she appeared to absorb the powers of “The Fiend.”

During an interview with BT Sport’s Rob Armstrong on What Went Down, Bliss proclaimed the dark version of her character to be a best-case scenario for her given the restrictions of the WWE ThunderDome during the global pandemic.

“This was the best-case scenario for me, as selfish as that sounds. I did cool stuff. I teleported, I changed outfits mid-match, I did all these things, and it was so fun because we got to have stuff like this in the ThunderDome, like look at all the graphics. That’s so cool. This was just so fun,” she said.

Speaking about her match against Randy Orton at WWE Fastlane 2021 which was more of a cinematic setup for the return of Bray Wyatt, Bliss put over the experience as something she never thought she would get to live through in a million years.

“Never in a million years did I ever think I’d have a match with Randy Orton. Never in a million years. You know, I might have to say, this might be one of my favorite matches I’ve ever done. This was cool. This was a super fun match. I feel like this has to be one of my favorites. But I will tell you, taking an RKO is not fun. But it’s pretty cool to say you’ve taken an RKO from Randy Orton.”

Ultimately, the storyline led to a WrestleMania match between Randy Orton and “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt. In what was a short affair, the match would end up being Bray Wyatt’s last wrestling match as of this writing. Alexa Bliss recalled the scenario being very anxiety-driven due to the severe weather that impacted WrestleMania 37.

“[It] was very anxiety-driven because we had about minutes to completely change, and the weather, it was the first time we had been rained out at a WrestleMania.”

Now, Bray Wyatt is back in WWE, and lately, when Alexa Bliss is on TV, Bray Wyatt’s symbol appears on screen and at times, has even possessed her. As a result, many fans have predicted that the duo will reunite to some extent in the near future.
