In-Ring Segment: Roman Reigns
Reigns is all alone with the Usos off and Heyman still injured. Reigns sticks his hand out for the mic but there isn’t anyone to hand it to him. A stagehand sheepishly puts a mic in Reigns’ hand. Reigns tells the crowd to acknowledge him. Reigns says he isn’t here every week anymore so once in a while people are going to come out here and say some stupid stuff. If anyone comes out here and says they are the main event, that they carry this company on their back, and it isn’t him, they are lying. There is only one man who fits that description is Roman Reigns. What he says is true. He doesn’t have to say anything face-to-face with Drew McIntyre because he’s beneath him.
McIntyre’s music hits and he power walks to the ring. McIntyre says he would have loved to say what he said to Reigns’ face but he wasn’t here. McIntyre doesn’t think Reigns deserves to be champion. Reigns is incredulous at that notion. McIntyre says Reigns has The Usos working for him physically and Heyman politicking for him backstage. Since Reigns is alone, McIntyre wants a fight. Reigns decks McIntyre. McIntyre floors Reigns. McIntyre tries the Claymore but Sami Zayn gets in the way and eats the Claymore. Superman Punch by Reigns. Reigns sets up the Spear. McIntyre counters with the Claymore.
