Backstage, Sami Zayn walks up to Roman Reigns’ locker room. A security guard lets him in, and Reigns is waiting for him. “The Tribal Chief” invites him to sit and asks him how it’s going. Zayn says it’s been a little “dicey” because he’s been getting into it with Jey last week. He notes that he saved Jey from a Claymore last week and didn’t even get a thank you. He says Jey is his blood and tells Zayn he should have talked to him. Jey calls on the phone, and Zayn tells him to answer it. He does, and Jey seemingly yells at him.
Zayn tells him it’s not a good time and hangs up. He says Jey was screaming at him and saying they had trouble at the border, so they wouldn’t be able to make it to the show. He tells Reigns that he’s there, though, and he has the chance to earn a shot at the Intercontinental Championship. Reigns notes that the title would look good in The Bloodline asks him if he’s cool with Kevin Owens and tells him to let him know that “The Tribal Chief” doesn’t owe anyone. Zayn says Reigns is right, so he’ll pass on the message.
