Roman Reigns On Facing Brock Lesnar At SummerSlam: I Hope It’s The Last Time

Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns is ready to put his rivalry with Brock Lesnar behind him after SummerSlam.

The Head of the Table was a guest this morning on The Today Show to discuss a wide variety of subjects. When asked about how he feels going into his SummerSlam matchup against Brock Lesnar, Reigns revealed that he’s feeling great and ready to dominate The Beast Incarnate once again.

“I feel great,” Roman Reigns began. “I’m on a course now to do something that no one’s ever done, dominate Brock Lesnar. And we’re really entering that kind of timeframe in my career where I’m really pushing myself to a different level and just trying to achieve things that have never been done before. And anytime you can beat Brock Lesnar three times in a row. That’s a pretty good feather in the cap.”

Reigns also made it clear that he hopes this is the last time these two men face each other inside the squared circle.

“I hope it’s the last time; it hurts,” Roman Reigns admitted. “It’s brutal being in there with Brock. He’s a big old country boy, and he’s got such a great legitimate background. I mean, he started out as an amateur wrestler, all the way through the collegiate ranks into the UFC, as everybody knows, Heavyweight Champion. He’s dominated WWE for a long time. The only problem he has is that Roman Reigns showed up. It’s gonna be great.”
