Natalya has seen and done it all over the years in WWE and is always eager to help give back to the next generation if they’re willing to listen and learn.
WWE SmackDown Superstar Natalya recently spoke with SO CATCH about a wide variety of subjects. Nattie has recently wrestled some matches down in WWE NXT 2.0. When asked about what advice she’d give to young and rising talent, Nattie said the most important thing for them to do is find their passion.
“The most important thing I can give anyone is to find your passion,” Natalya said. “I think that’s so important. And that’s the secret weapon and the most important ingredient in succeeding in this. If you don’t feel this in your heart, and you’re not passionate about this, and you’re not willing to put in the work. It’s not something for the faint of heart. This is extremely hard. This is a career and it’s very grueling. It’s very rewarding, but you have to love this. And if you don’t feel it in your heart and you don’t have that passion, this isn’t the right place for you. And so for me, especially when I go to NXT the one thing that I really look for anything is that passion. The passion will take you to the top.”
On the main roster, Natalya has been teaming with former NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler, a partner whom Nattie believes shares many similarities with herself.
“I love diversifying. I love managing, I love working in tag teams. I love being on my own. I like being busy and I think with Shayna, we actually are very similar,” Natalya said. “She’s a submission specialist. I came from the dungeon. We both are very grounded. She’s overall like a really cool person to be around. She’s very practical. She was the last student to train with Billy Robinson. She has a lot of passion for the industry. It’s really cool to work with her. She brings a lot to the table and going back to passion, she’s somebody that just has a lot of passion for like what Bobby [Lashley] was saying for combat sports. And you can feel that, you can see that in her work.”
