O’Reilly works over Mendoza. Wagner tags in and slams Mendoza. Mendoza tries a dive but Wagner catches him and lands a fallaway slam. O’Reilly and Wagner hit the World’s Greatest Combo. O’Reilly blasts Mendoza with a running knee. Legado eventually gets the win after a distraction and a roll-up using the ropes.

After the match, Breakker says he failed last week. Ciampa set trap after trap and Breakker fell for all of them, Ciampa is the man in NXT but this isn’t over. Breakker promises to get another shot at the NXT Championship. Breakker is going to win the NXT Championship or die trying.
Lashing Out with Lash Legend
Lash runs down the NXT Superstar’s costume choices from Halloween Havoc. Lash introduces her guest tonight, Tony D’Angelo. D’Angelo joins him on the stage. Lash announces that her missing producer has resurfaced. The producer walks out on the stage. D’Angelo tells him to sit down. D’Angelo talks about how the producer is fine and lists all of his children and where they go to school. D’Angelo tells the guy to hit the bricks. D’Angelo says he has somewhere to be and tells Lash to end the show. Lash is offended. D’Angelo walks off.

In-Ring Segment: Tommaso Ciampa
Ciampa says Halloween Havoc was supposed to be a changing of the guard. Every title changed hands. Bron Breakker was supposed to be the new NXT Champion… but no one told Ciampa. Ciampa calls himself the god of NXT. Melo Hayes and Trick Williams interrupt. Hayes says as long as he’s here he’s the A Champion; the only Champion that matters. Williams says they are the main event and they are who everyone is here to see. Ciampa decks Williams.
