Backstage, Kayla Braxton asks Paul Heyman where he stands since Brock Lesnar returned at SummerSlam. Heyman says he stands with his Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns. Heyman tells Kayla that he has to go help Reigns prepare for tonight. Heyman tries to open Reigns locker room door but it’s locked.
After the break, Heyman is still trying to get in Reigns’ locker room. The Usos walk out of the locker room. Jimmy tells Heyman that Reigns isn’t here yet. Jey asks Heyman if he knew Lesnar was going to be there at Summerslam. Heyman says no. The Usos question Heyman but Heyman stands his ground.
Cesaro vs. Chad Gable w/Otis
As soon as the bell rings Cesaro hits a roaring European uppercut. Cesaro lands a flurry of strikes. Gable cuts Cesaro off. Gable chops Cesaro in the throat and hits an arm-trapped Northern Lights Suplex. Cesaro kicks out. Gable lands a moonsault off the top. Cesaro kicks out. Gable traps Cesaro in a rope-hang armbar. Cesaro swings Gable. Otis attacks him from behind to cause a disqualification.
Winner- Cesaro
After the match, Gable and Otis hit a German suplex/discus lariat combo on Cesaro. Otis crushes Cesaro with a splash off the second rope.
Backstage, Baron Corbin pulls up in the parking lot in a Bently. Kayla asks Corbin what’s going on. Corbin says he’s stinking rich and we should all call him Happy Corbin. Corbin hit it big in Vegas over the last week.
