In-Ring Segment: Samoa Joe
Joe says he stood across from the most dominant NXT Champion in history and won. Joe is the first-ever three-time NXT Champion. That should be cause for celebration, but he didn’t come dressed to celebrate. Joe knows that being an NXT champion is like being the king of the savages. Joe is here to answer one simple question: who is man enough to come step to him. The time is now and the champ is waiting.
Pete Dunne walks to the ring. Dunne tells Joe to go to his mat Regal and get the match made. LA Knight joins the fray. Knight says… stuff. He wants a shot at Joe. Kyle O’Reilly walks out on the stage and says he deserves a title match. Ridge Holland attacks O’Reilly from behind. Dunne sneaks up on Joe but Ciampa appears and takes out Dunne. Holland headbutts Ciampa. Knight tries a sneak attack but gets dusted by Joe. Ciampa and Joe are left standing.

Backstage, Grimes tells the DiBiase the Million Dollar Championship is DiBiase’s legacy, not his. Grimes gives DiBiase the title back. DiBiase gets in his limo. DiBiase tells Grimes he wants Grimes to keep it. DiBiase hands Grimes the title back. Grimes says it feels a little strange. Grimes looks at the back of the title and it says “WWE Shop Replica” DiBiase laughs and the limo pulls off. Grimes frustratedly screams, “that damn Ted DiBiase!”
Backstage, Duke Hudson tries to mock an injured Kyle O’Reilly. O’Reilly and Hudson get into a scuffle. They are separated by NXT officials.
NXT Breakout Tournament Finals: Carmelo Hayes vs. Oddessey Jones
Hayes almost runs into Jones but Hayes puts on the breaks. Jones tosses Hayes clear across the ring. Hayes rolls out to the floor to recover. Hayes surprises Jones with a dropkick. Hayes dropkicks Jones in the knee. Jones blocks a knee strike but eats an enziguri. Hayes tries a springboard but Jones catches him in midair. Jones slams Hayes down to the mat like a bag of ice a cookout. After the break, Jones clubs Hayes in the corner. Jones misses a splash in the corner. Hayes jumps on Jones back but Jones flips him off. Hayes locks Jones in a front face lock. Jones starts to fade. Jones pushes Hayes away. Hayes hits a pump kick.
Hayes lands a springboard but Jones doesn’t go down. Hayes lands head scissors into a facebuster. Jones kicks out. Hayes walks right into a shoulder breaker. As Jones tries to crawl to the pin, Hayes rolls out of the ring. Jones tries to bring Hayes back in the ring but Hayes kicks him in the head. Jones tries a corner spear but Hayes moves out of the way. Jones eats the turnbuckle. Hayes hits a top rope fameasser. Jones struggles to his feet. Hayes tries another but Jones moves out of the way. Jones lands a splash. Jones pins Hayes but Hayes rolls Jones into a crucifix pin for the win!
Winner- Carmelo Hayes
After the match, Hayes chases Jones down to shake his hand. Regal hands Hayes a contract that Hayes can use to face any NXT Champion of his choosing. Hayes gives props to Jones. Hayes says when he shoots, he don’t miss.
