Backstage, Wyatt finds a rocking chair. Wyatt sits in it. Orton attacks him from behind. Orton puts Wyatt in a box and lights it on fire. The Fiend pops out of the box and puts Orton in the Mandible Claw.
MVP vs. Riddle
MVP misses a boot in the corner. Riddle responds with a running knee. Riddle hits the Floating Bro for the win.
Winner- Riddle
After the match, Lashley runs down to the ring to attack Riddle escapes, and eats a bronut as he saunters up the ramp.
Championship Ascension Ceromony
Tom Phillips is in the ring with AJ Styles and Drew McIntyre. Omos waits outside the ring. Styles notes that he has never faced McIntyre in a singles match before. Styles says he was surprised when he did some research and found out it took McIntyre 19 years to win the world title. Styles says McIntyre can’t handle the pressure. McIntyre says he’s never been in a TLC match and he knows Styles has been successful in that match in the past. McIntyre says it’s his journey that made him who he is today. McIntyre is going to do whatever it takes to remain WWE Champion. McIntyre asks Styles if he is prepared to do the same. McIntyre puts the title on the hook and the title is raised high above the ring.
Styles asks McIntyre what he is going to do since he isn’t just facing him on Sunday. Miz and Morrison attack McIntyre from behind. McIntyre drops Miz with a Claymore. Morrison picks up a ladder but McIntyre Claymores the ladder into Morrison’s face. McIntyre is about to Claymore Styles but Omos tosses the ring steps into the ring. In the confusion, Styles chop blocks McIntyre. Styles hits the Phenomenal Forearm. Styles hits McIntyre with a chair multiple times. Styles smashes a ladder into McIntyre’s gut. Styles puts McIntyre through a table with a flying elbow off of a ladder. Styles climbs the ladder and pulls down the WWE Championship.
