Thatch-As-Thatch-Can
Thatcher’s lesson today is on distractions. A lot of people on NXT have lost matches due to distractions. As Thatcher is talking, Tommaso Ciampa appears in the ring next to Thatcher’s student. Ciampa says he is there to teach, not learn. Thatcher says he doesn’t have an issue with Ciampa and tries to leave. Ciampa calls Thatcher a disappointment. Thatcher comes back and says he doesn’t want a problem. Thatcher tries to double-leg Ciampa but Ciampa beats him away. Thatcher’s trainee attacks Ciampa from behind. Thatcher beats down Ciampa. Thatcher puts Ciampa to sleep with a front face lock.
WarGames Advantage Ladder Match: Raquel Gonzalez vs. Shotzi Blackheart
Both WarGames teams are on platforms far away from the ring so they can’t interfere. Blackheart attacks Gonzalez. Gonzalez swats Blackheart like a fly. Gonzalez sends Blackheart out of the ring. Gonzalez set up a ladder outside of the ring. Gonzalez tries to drive Blackheart into the ladder but Blackheart escapes. Blackheart dropkicks the ladder into Gonzalez’s face. Blackheart dives off the apron. Gonzalez catches Blackheart and slams her on a ladder. Gonzalez sends Blackheart into the barricade. Blackheart surprises Gonzalez with a dive off the apron. Gonzalez tries to send Blackheart into the barricade but Blackheart clutches the fencing to brace herself. Blackheart hits a coffin drop off the fence. After the break, Gonzalez hits Blackheart in the face with the ring steps. Gonzalez sets up the ladder and starts to climb.
Blackheart climbs the other side of the ladder. Blackheart and Gonzalez both fall off the ladder. Blackheart hits a senton that drives Gonzalez’s head into the ladder. Gonzalez falls out of the ring. Blackheart crushes Gonzalez with a dive. Indi Hartwell brings a ladder over to LeRae’s platform so LeRae and Co can get involved. Ripley and Moon run down to ringside. Hartwell tries to climb the ladder but Blackheart cuts her off. Gonzalez climbs the ladder. Io Shirai appears out of nowhere and springboards onto Gonzalez’s back. Shirai puts Gonzalez in a sleeper. Gonzalez eventually knocks Shriai off of her back. Shirai dumps Gonzalez over the top rope. Shirai moonsaults to the outside onto everyone. Blackheart climbs the ladder and pulls down the case for the win.
