An EC3 video package plays, and EC3 comes to the ring. He asks whether honor is real because there’s no honor in what we do. “Every day, they take from us our freedoms,” EC3 says. He asks whether there is honor in fighting back for your freedom. He questions whether there is honor in the past. He says men are fallible, and men conform.

He asks if there’s honor on the current roster. “I’m not here to wrestle,” he says. “I am here to fight.” He wants the best competition available. “Without pain, without sacrifice, you have nothing,” he says. “Honor, I will put that name to the test,” he states. “You have been warned.”
Backstage, Shane Taylor confronts EC3. He says EC3 forgot to say his name. Taylor says he’s the “baddest” EC3 has ever seen. The Briscoes confront Taylor for saying this is his house. Jay Briscoe suggests a six-man tag team match between Taylor and the Soldiers of Savagery and The Briscoes & EC3.
