Backstage, Big E, Drew Gulak, and Lucha House Party are jumping up and down because it’s Xavier Woods’ birthday and he is here tonight. Big E says he’s going to win tonight and go on to beat Reigns for the title. A security guard tells Big E that Woods is here. Big E is walking to meet Woods and Sheamus attacks him in the parking lot. Sheamus Brogue Kicks Big E into a garage door. Sheamus puts Big E through a car windshield with white noise.
Kayla announces Big E has suffered multiple injuries and is being taken to a local medical facility. Sheamus interrupts and mocks Big E.
Backstage, Banks and Bayley complain about their loss to Baszler and Banks. Bayley says they weren’t prepared for Jax and Baszler but they are this time. The interviewer notes that Bayley has tapped out to Baszler the last three times they have wrestled. Banks goes off and says Bayley is the greatest SmackDown Women’s champion ever. Tonight they are getting back what is theirs.
Backstage, Adam Pearce announces Big E won’t be able to compete tonight. Managment is figuring out who will replace Big E. Heyman walks in and asks Pearce if he can have a word.
WWE Women’s Championship Match: Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax (c) vs. Sasha Banks and Bayley
Banks and Bayley toss Jax and Baszler out of the ring. Banks and Bayley attempt dual baseball slides but Baszler and Jax slams Bayley and Banks into the barricade over and over again. After the break, Jax splashes Bayley in the corner multiple times. Jax tosses Bayley across the ring. Jax flattens Bayley with a walking hip attack. Jax slams Bayley’s arm into the mat. Baszler tags in and hits a running knee in the corner. Baszler locks Bayley in a hammerlock. Baszler snaps Bayley’s arm back, Pentagon Jr. style. Jax tags in and gets chop blocked after Banks distracted the referee. Banks sends Jax into the corner. Banks crushes Jax with multiple variations of her running knee strikes. Banks gets a two count after a top rope Meteora. Banks tries a powerbomb off the apron but Jax hooks the ropes and holds on. Bayley stuns Jax on the second rope, allowing Banks to land her powerbomb.
Baszler tries to put Bayley in the Krifiuda Clutch, but Bayley reverses it into a back suplex. Banks and Bayley take turns working over Baszler. Baszler kicks out of Bayley’s flying elbow drop. Banks misses a flying double knee strike on the apron but Baszler moves out of the way. Banks crashes knees first into the ring post. Baszler counters Banks’ knee strike by sending Banks flying into the middle turnbuckle. Baszler chop block Banks. Baszler is relentless, stomping Banks knee into the mat. Baszler almost locks in the same double submission she used at Payback but Bayley reverses it into a B2B. Baszler kicks out. Jax tries to Samoan drop Banks off the second rope. Bayley pulls Banks off of Jax’s shoulders. Jax crushes Bayley and Banks with a cross body off the second rope for the win.
Winners and STILL WWE Women’s Champions, Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax!
After the match, the medical staff checks on Banks and her injured knee.
