Backstage, Pearce bangs on Roman Reigns Locker room door.
In-Ring Segment: Bayley and Sasha Banks
Bayley and Banks complain about having to defend all of their titles in a weeks span. Bayley says they are the greatest tag team ever. Bayley says she feels bad Banks lost her title. Bayley says she should have never let Banks challenge Asuka to begin with. With Banks history of never being able to successfully defend the RAW Women’s title before. Bayley says she didn’t mean it like that. Banks says as long as Bayley has her back she can get through anything.
Banks says lucky for Bayley she is still her best friend. Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler appear on the tron. Jax says she hates Baszler but if it means she can get her hands on Banks and Bayley she’ll do what she has to do. Baszler says Jax actually sucks, but if teaming up with her will get Baszler those tag titles, screw it. Banks says she knows who she is and it doesn’t matter what Baszler and Jax say, they will walk out of Payback as champions.
Backstage, Pearce asks Drew Gulak if he has seen Reigns. GGulak asks Pearce if he has seen Strowman. Gulak owes him one for last week. Pearce advises Gulak against looking for Strowman. Gulak see Strowman. Gulak grabs a chair and hits Strowman with it. Strowman doesn’t budge. As Strowman is turning around, Gulak tosses the chair at Pearce. Strowman gets in Pearce’s face. Pearce tells Strowman it was Gulak. Strowman says he will only sign the contract if he gets Gulak in the ring.
That may have been a bad move… ?
