Deville says she heard what Rose had to say. Deville knew that Rose would question her challenge. Deville says no matter what happens they have to face each other. Deville says they need to raise the stakes. Let’s make the match a no DQ loser leaves WWE match. Deville calls Rose a bitch and drops the mic.
Backstage, Nikki Cross says Alexa Bliss has been different since all of this stuff with The Fiend and Strowman. Cross is worried something terrible is going to happen.
Intercontinental Championship Match: AJ Styles (c) vs. Jeff Hardy
Styles kicks Hardy in the knee. Hardy drops like a sack of bricks. Styles rips Hardy’s pant leg to expose his knee brace. Styles focuses his assault on Hardy’s knee. After the break, Hardy fires up and hits a basement dropkick for a near fall. Gord buster by Hardy. Styles kicks out. Hardy calls for the Twist of Fury. Styles counters with a Pelé kick. Both men are down. Hardy tries to go up top but Hardy’s knee gives out. Hardy hits the mat hard. Styles sets up for the Phenomenal Forearm. Hardy counters with a punch to Styles gut. Styles rolls Hardy into the Calf Crusher. Hardy gets to the ropes. Styles tries the Styles Clash. Hardy hits Styles in the face with the knee brace. Hardy hits the Twist of Fate. Hardy goes up top and hits the Swanton for the win!
Winner and NEW Intercontinental Champion, Jeff Hardy!
After the match, Hardy tells us how proud he is to be champion. Before Hardy can finish, his music hits. That was strange.
Backstage, Styles is livid. Styles yells at Kayla and Joseph Parks.
Firefly Funhouse
Wyatt says love can be a really terrible thing. It’s just a way to trick you into multiple burdens. Wyatt says the story of Strowman and Bliss proves it. Wyatt throws to a puppet show of Huskus and Ramblin Rabbit dressed as Bliss. Wyatt interrupts and tells them they are doing it wrong. Wyatt tells both the puppets to get lost. Wyatt says love leads to pain and suffering so the best we can do is try to be like “Him” Be a being that is fueled by rage and anger. “He” can’t wait to get his hands on Strowman. Wyatt stops speaking and sniffs the air. Wyatt looks at the camera and asks “what took you so long?” Strowman barges in and clubs Wyatt. Strowman pounds on Wyatt off camera. Strowman exclaims that he isn’t finished with Strowman yet. Strowman drags Wyatt out of the Funhouse. after the break, Wyatt and Strowman are fighting backstage, Strowman chokeslams Wyatt off a ledge in the loading dock. Referees and officials frantically call for an ambulance. Wyatt isn’t moving. Wyatt is loaded into the ambulance. The ambulance pulls off but stops before leaving the arena. The Ambulance backs up to where Wyatt was originally loaded. The ambulance doors open and The Fiend is standing there. The Fiend just starts laughing.
