Backstage, when asked if Velveteen Dream will defeat Adam Cole, Dexter Lumis grabs a dry erase board instead of answering the question.
Earlier today, Drake Maverick says he isn’t feeling any pressure at all. He doesn’t know what’s going to happen and he is excited about it.
Earlier today, Adam Cole is picked up by the rest of the UE. They are going to celebrate Cole’s year-long reign as NXT Champion. Velveteen Dream is riding rollerblades around the area his feud with Cole started. Dream is going to take the most important thing to Cole away from him. Dream asks his mirror who will be the NXT Champion after Sunday. Prince (yes, you read that right) says Dream will be the fairest and greatest champion of all.
Backstage, Lumis’ reveals his drawing. It’s a cartoon of him driving away with Roderick Strong, Kyle O’Reilly, and Bobby Fish away.
Tony Nese vs. Isaiah “Swerve” Scott
As soon as the bell rings, Scott double legs Nese. Scott beat Nese up all over the outside area. Nese surprises Scott with a running elbow strike. Nese beats down Scott. Nese misses his patented double jump moonsault. Scott whips Nese into the ring steps. Nese and Scott trade strikes. Scott goes up top. Jack Gallagher walks out on the stage. Nese sets up a muff driver. Scott reverses it into a roll-up for the win.
