Kushida and Maverick trade headlock. Kushida runs over Maverick with a shoulder block. Maverick tries a dropdown but Kushida surprises Maverick with a dropkick. After the break, Maverick dropkicks Kushida in the knee. Kushida falls face-first into the turnbuckle. sunset bomb by Maverick. Kushida kicks out. Jake Atlas is at ringside yelling words of encouragement at Maverick. Kushida lands a stiff right hand followed by a palm strike. Kushida works over Maverick’s arm. Maverick tries to fire back with punches but Kushida walks through them and slams Maverick.
Kushinda stomps on Maverick’s elbow. Kushida locks in a double wrist lock but Maverick gets to the ropes. Kushida locks in the double wrist lock. Maverick screams in pain. The referee wants to stop the match. Maverick refuses. Maverick sits Kushida on the top rope. Maverick decks Kushida. Kushida puts Maverick in a double wrist lock on the top rope. Maverick escapes. Maverick sets up a wheelbarrow bulldog off the top. Kushida reverses the move in midair and turns it into a cross arm breaker. Maverick counters into a pin for the win!
