Matt Riddle vs. Roderick Strong
Strong and Riddle exchange takedowns. Strong lights Riddle up with a few chops. Strong whips Riddle into the turnbuckle. After the break, Strong has Riddle in a modified camel clutch. Riddle surprises Strong with an overhead kick. Riddle hits the Bro to sleep followed by a German Suplex hold. Strong kicks out. Strong counter Broderek and hits the Angle Slam. Riddle kicks out. Strong tries his running elbow strikes but Riddle reverses it into Broderek for the win.
Winner- Matt Riddle
After the match, Riddle is attacked by two large men. Malcolm Bivens walks out and says since Pete Dunne isn’t here tonight, he wanted to introduce Riddle to the future of the NXT tag team division.
In-Ring Segment: Triple H
Triple H says the rivalry between Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano is the most intense in NXT history. Ciampa interrupts. Ciampa tells Triple H to bring Gargano out now so they can finish this. Triple H says there will be no physicality allowed. Triple H tells Gargano to come out. Gargano refuses to get in the ring. Triple H tells them both that if it were up to Regal they would be fired. Triple H reminds them not to touch each other. Triple H says he has gone through what they are going through before with Shawn Michael. Triple H gets it, but he can’t have them destroying buildings.
Gargano says this was supposed to end last year but Ciampa broke his neck. Gargano wishes he was the one who broke it. Ciampa and Gargano argue over who is the heart and soul of NXT. Triple H says he will give the two of them what they want. Triple H asks if they want to go no. Gargano says he isn’t ready and needs two weeks. Triple H is going to put them both in an empty arena with a referee. Triple says he will text them both an address and they have to go there. If this continues beyond this match Triple H will get rid of them both. The screen flashes and images of Killer Kross area shown on the screen before the screen goes black.
