Despite Ronda Rousey not appearing on WWE television in months, WWE Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch has stopped talking about her in various interviews.
Lynch did so again while speaking with Brian Fritz of Sporting News to promote being featured alongside Roman Reigns on the cover of WWE 2K20 that is slated to be released this October on XBOX, PS4, and PC.
Rousey took time off from WWE after WrestleMania 35 where she dropped the Raw Women’s Title to Lynch while competing in a triple threat match with Charlotte Flair.
It was a historic moment as it marked the first time that women headlined the biggest event of the year for WWE.
In this interview, Lynch expressed her desire to face Rousey in a singles match should she make a return to in-ring action under the WWE banner.
“Do I miss her? Absolutely not. If she wants to come back, I’ll still be holding onto the championship and happy to face her. I didn’t run. She ran. I still want that singles match. I still want that singles match so whenever she wants to come back and face me, I’ll be right here waiting, carrying this division that she abandoned.”
