Mustafa Ali is getting his shot at the WWE Championship after all, as he was added to the title match at WWE Fastlane.
Earlier in the night, Vince McMahon had promised Kofi Kingston he would get a shot at Daniel Bryan’s title tonight, but inexplicably ended up in a handicap match against The Bar. Moments ago, it was announced that the WWE Championship would still be contested in a triple threat match, and Kevin Owens and Daniel Bryan made their entrances. Mustafa Ali then came to the ring, much to the surprise of the crowd, who began chanting ‘We Want Kofi’.

Update: Daniel Bryan ended up retaining his WWE Championship, getting some help during the match from his peer, Erick Rowan. Ali and Owens brought everything they could, including some incredible offense from the apron, but Bryan ultimately won with a knee to the head after Ali leaped from the top rope.
