Backstage, Joe says tonight was about retribution. At the Elimination Chamber, it will be about holding the WWE Championship in the air.
In Ring Segment: Daniel Bryan and Rowen
The crowd cheers for Bryan. Bryan says he is happy to finally be in front of people who understand him. The people of Washington know we need change. Bryan says he is fighting an uphill battle. Bryan says he created the new WWE Championship so they all have something to rally behind. Rowen says people like him and Bryan are thought of as dangerous because of their ideas. Bryan says they are trying to silence him because he serves a greater power than money and fame. Bryan is the Planet’s Champion. The suits don’t want Bryan as their champion. That is why they are putting Bryan in the Elimination Chamber match. Bryan says he can’t lose because they need him to be the WWE Champion.
Backstage, Jeff Hardy says no one has disrespected the WWE Championship the way Bryan has. AJ Styles walks in and says Hardy isn’t the best person to represent the WWE. Hardy says that Styles can’t beat Bryan, but Hardy can.
Naomi and Carmella vs Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville vs The IIconics
After the break, The IIconics are taking turns beating down Carmella. Mandy tags herself in and continues the beating. Carmella tags in Naomi. Rose runs away. Naomi follows. Deville tries to cut Naomi off. Naomi lands two head kicks on Deville. Disaster kick by Naomi. Naomi gets distracted by the IIconics, which allows Rose to hit the Angel’s Wings on Naomi for the win.
