A number of chants developed during today’s NXT TakeOver: Blackpool event, but the most memorable may be the ‘Is Vince Watching?’ chants. Directed at WWE CEO Vince McMahon, the Blackpool audience and held nothing back in their attempt to ensure that McMahon took notice of today’s event.
At the conclusion of today’s NXT TakeOver: Blackpool, WWE’s Radzi Chinyanganya interviewed Triple H about the chants, but although the WWE COO gave credit to the UK audience for their ‘unique’ chanting ability, Triple H wasn’t too keen on commenting about the McMahon chants, “I like you having a job. I’d like you to keep your job. Let’s just move on.”
The interaction begins at the nine minute mark in the video below:
Apparently Vince McMahon did indeed hear those chants at NXT TakeOver: Blackpool. McMahon took to Twitter to assure audiences that he was listening and also provided some insight as to what he thought about today’s show, “Yes, I watched #NXTUKTakeOver. Yes, it was awesome.”
Yes, I watched #NXTUKTakeOver.

The wrestling world is apparently inclined to agree with the WWE CEO. The show has been universally praised and #NXTUKTakeOver was the #1 Twitter trend in the UK, the United States, and the world today.
