As reported by PWInsider, CM Punk has filed a motion to dismiss Colt Cabana‘s lawsuit again him. The motion suggests that Cabana didn’t use allegations of actual fact in the lawsuit, which has already been amended after it was dismissed once, with the claim being that it won’t hold up in court. Cabana’s attorneys will now have until the 25th of this month to reply, and following that, Punk’s team would have to reply by February 19th.
The latest chapter in this saga came out not long after Cabana & Punk won their case against Dr. Chris Amann, with Colt’s initial lawsuit revealing his complaints with Punk during the whole process.
